We’re proud once again to be working with Vivid Sydney, this time bringing Yotam Ottolenghi to the 2026 Vivid Food program.

A Shared Table with Yotam Ottolenghi

Ottolenghi is one of the most influential chefs of his generation, widely recognised for reshaping how people cook and eat vegetables. Through his best-selling cookbooks, award-winning columns and globally acclaimed restaurants, he has brought bold flavours, vibrant presentation and a produce first philosophy into kitchens around the world.

His work is defined by a distinctive style – layered with herbs, spices and contrasting textures, yet always grounded in a sense of generosity and accessibility. Whether through books like Plenty, Jerusalem and Simple, or his delis and restaurants, Ottolenghi has built a global following on his ability to make everyday ingredients feel considered and exciting.

As a headline to the 2026 Vivid Food program, Ottolenghi will present A Shared Table, an exclusive lunch and dinner series in the heart of Sydney CBD. It’s a rare opportunity to experience Ottolenghi’s produce-led approach of colour, generosity and depth of flavour.

The menu will hero New South Wales produce, forming the centerpiece of Vivid Food’s new Regional Dinner Series – a citywide celebration of regional ingredients and talent. Ottolenghi’s approach is grounded in place and seasonality, while bringing his global perspective to locally sourced NSW ingredients.

The 2026 theme for Vivid Sydney Food is Food Memoirs, exploring the connection between food, memory and storytelling. A perfect fit for Ottolenghi, whose cooking draws on heritage, travel and personal narrative.
